Signs Indicating That You Need a Vacation

Life these days seems to be hanging between ghar mein aaram ya ghar mein kaam. Though there is a different kind of satisfaction in working from home, comfortable with snacks, this new normal isn’t something we are used to yet.

Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Though we may not always see it, going outside or on a vacation uplifts us from the clutches of life and stress. In this fast-paced world, we often overlook the signs our body and our mind are trying to tell us.

As fellow travellers, we want you to know when it’s time to take a trip! Here are some signs your body and mind may be giving you, but you don’t notice:

1. Work is driving you crazy!

You may love your job and be really great at it, but sometimes it can be a real pain to do!

This is especially true if you look at the same walls and desk over and over again with nothing new to stimulate you. Doing your job becomes harder and you find yourself zoning out a lot.

If you find yourself relating to these feelings, then it is definitely time for a vacation! Going on a vacation will not only give a change of scenery but it will also get those creative juices flowing. 2. The phone screen is now ZINDAGI! With everything digitised these days, we are all either staring at our smartphones or laptops or tablets etc. Your entire life revolves around your smartphone, from social media to work.

Even after work, you find yourself binge-watching shows or movies and feeling too tired to leave the house. Not just that but you also watch other people travelling without doing it yourself! Excessive screen time is a growing problem, definitely one that you should get rid of ASAP.

And going on vacation helps with that! Go see the world for what it truly is, not what you see on your screen.

3. Your body says, “no thank you!”

Did you know that most of our mental stress and problems manifest or become physical illnesses? Headaches, migraines, backaches, muscle tension, weakened eyes, clenched jaws, difficulty breathing etc are all indicators of mental stress and anxiety.

Having trouble sleeping is also another sign.

Taking care of your body, giving it rest allows you to bring order back into your life. Going on a vacation reduces the constant stress on your body, letting you be back in control!

5. Dil chahta hai!

Probably the biggest sign is the fact that you want to go on vacation both consciously and subconsciously. You find yourself visiting different travel websites but not actually going through with the booking. You really want to go on a trip but are hesitating for some reason.

If you’re looking for a sign to travel,

If you have the time and resources, BOOK THAT TRIP NOW!

Don’t neglect what your body is telling you; take a vacation. Trust us, you need to PUT YOURSELF FIRST!

We understand that travelling during these times can be a scary and difficult thing to do. But that’s why we are here!
